There’s no better way to celebrate the new school year than inviting your children’s classmates over for some Marco Polo. Send them to school with some aquatic-themed invitations, bring out the noodles and floaties, provide some yummy snacks and you’re set. Remember, don’t forget to have plenty of sunscreen on hand!
Evening Tropical Pool Party
If you’re looking for a more sophisticated theme, one of our favorite pool party ideas is a poolside evening party. Light the tiki torches, blow up some glow-in-the-dark balloons to throw in the pool, and put out pina coladas, daiquiris and tropical-themed snacks. You can even get fun plastic cups and plates, so no one risks breaking glass near the pool. Don’t forget the umbrellas!
Sunday Funday
Have the neighborhood over for a day of fun in the sun before fall cools everything down. Fire up the grill, make some potato salad and popsicles, and set up a pool volleyball net. This pool party is great for the whole family!
